A piercing scream interrupted the sweet silence that Kandy and Fang sat in, both covering their sensitive ears.
“W-What was that…?!” asked Kandy, trembling.
Fang stood up, and slowly stepped towards the hidden darkness of the trees.
“Stay here Kandy, I’ll go look…” he said, soon out of the purple rabbit’s sight.

Kandy awoke from hearing the booming voice, opening her eyes groggily. She couldn’t see much…seeing as how she was face down on the floor. Kandy propped herself up onto her elbows so she could see where she was. It looked like a dark cave, or casm with a small river running through. She could see the figure of a mutated cat with over large wings and claws. As her vision came back to her, Kandy noticed a blackish hole that was swirling in the centre of a looming wall.
